Tips for the Pharmacist to improve trust & relation with patient

1. The Pharmacist is responsible healthcare personnel. He should aim at promoting right use of medicines by the patient in the right manner, with the goal of improving drug therapy outcomes.

2. All Pharmacists’ are professionally responsible to ensure that the service they provide is of appropriate quality.

3. Pharmacist should guide the patients on proper usage of the drugs & not indulge himself in comments, adverse or otherwise, on the prescription & the doctor.

4. It is the responsibility of the Pharmacist to ensure the proper storage of all the drugs, vaccines & sera & maintain a quality refrigeration system. The pharmacist is professionally, morally & ethically bound to inform the patients about the storage of the drugs at home & also to tell the patient about the date of expiry of the drugs.

5. The Pharmacist should adopt patient education as an integral part of their professional responsibility.
